The Wessex HTC-18 was designed for the maintenance of golf courses and sports turf, The HTC-18 is truly a professional all season machine which can be utilised for scarifying, sweeping and flail mowing.
Scarifying: The HTC-18 is fitted with a full width adjustable front roller, which sets the depth of the scarification and two anti-scalp rollers behind the rotor to eliminate unsightly scalping. Verti-cut scarifying knives mounted on a steel rotor ensure clean and even scarifying whilst fan blades assist the up-draught to avoid uncollected debris behind left behind. Drive to the rotor is via a chain and sprocket for positive transmission.
Flail mower collector: The HTC-18 can be set up for fine grass cutting, and the cutting flails can be fitted in lieu or in conjunction with the scarifying knives.
Sweeper: The HTC-18 can be converted to a sweeper collector by simply replacing the steel main rotor with the brush rotor. This comprises of rows of hard wearing polypropylene bristles. It will efficiently collect grass clippings, cores, wet or dry leaves from turf and hard surfaces. The front roller is also removed and the height adjustment is set on the fully adjustable front wheels.
