COMPACT POWER
Heavy-duty work cycles call for power and the Thomas 137 has it to spare. Rated at 1300 lb. (590 kg) lift capacity the new 137 is equipped with a rugged, fuel-efficient Kubota 43 HP (32kw) diesel engine. No rubber band drive in this unit. To handle heavy workloads day after day, the 137 features the heaviest drive train in its class. Power is transferred from the engine through a direct coupling to the hydrostatic drive then through a heavy No. 100 roller chain drive system to the axles.
For efficient attachment operation the loaders standard auxiliary hydraulic system puts out over 16.6 gpm (62.8 l/m). Combine this with over 3800 lb. (1724 kg) of breakout force and the 137's quick, nimble turn on a dime performance, fast efficient work cycles are assured.
